Baby Present Take 2

I have another friend expecting a baby a few weeks before me, this one is easier, we know its a little girl!

Same as before I made a self-binding blanket using this tutorial at Everyday Mom: Self-Binding Blanket using the slightly adjusted measurements in metric of 112cm x 92cm for the larger piece of pink flannel and 86cm x 66cm for the smaller piece of printed cotton material.

Using the leftover fabric I made 2 burp cloths and decorated an all-in one suit, here is the present all wrapped up in a rag loop with a gift tag attached and ready to go...

The all-in one suit is decorated with a shaped ruffle at the neck and a star on the front, here is how it looks..

The burp cloths are made with a piece of the pink flannel, a piece of pink printed cotton and a piece of terry toweling on the inside for absorbency, here is an almost final photo, I forgot to take a finished shot with the top stitching on...

So there we have it, baby present take 2 completed.
